I’m so happy to welcome you to to NEO Pet Connection!
After my family moved to the Chagrin Valley when I was only 11 months old, my connection with animals began to develop. My first best friend was a wild black squirrel I named Chickalilbega. I would watch her and talk with her, from a distance, leave her gifts in the yard, and tell others stories of our wild adventures.
I have a vivid memory of feeling so proud and almighty the very first time I was allowed to feed our family cat, Victor, his dinner of wet food; I was probably no older than 2.
Shortly after, my first dog came into my world. He was my brother. There are so many vivid memories I have of being with him. The moment our dad named him Lucky, cause he was lucky to have us... but maybe that was the other way around. Developing our own language and purposefully getting lost together in the woods after school so Lucky could find our way home.
Along my time line there have been a wonderful array of cat personalities that have blessed my life. Cruise, the Tabby who lived up to his name. Baby (or Hoople, depending on who you’re talking to) the kitten I found in the woods. Basie, the Maine Coon, who’s oh so “vicious”. Bugsy, the short hair domestic who chose us.
I started pet sitting as soon as someone deemed me old or responsible enough.
I went on to graduate from Miami University in Education. It’s fascinating how our brains learn, develop and grow. An education I appreciate wholly.
Since graduation I spent time teaching art, both in a formal classroom setting as well as non-formal, gallery management, retail, and intensively developing my connection to my spirituality and assisting where I can in others’ search of development.
In that time Malcom, my little boy, my handsome man, my familiar, entered my life. The English language does not have appropriate enough words to describe his and my love, connection, and bond. I feel so incredibly blessed to be owned by him.
I was introduced to Theta Therapy for my own personal release and growth. It made such an impact on me and I resonated with it so much I turned right around and got certified as fast as I could. I discovered how sensitive and receptive our family cats were to Theta. I quickly started talking about the results out of pure excitement and joy. After working on friends pets and seeing the difference not only in the quality of the pets’ lives but just as much so in their people’s!
I welcome you to view all the current offerings and I cannot wait to meet you and your Little One!
